With your doctor’s approval, you are welcome to enjoy alcohol in moderation. For your safety, we kindly ask that all alcoholic beverages be stored in the nurse’s station.

We encourage residents to maintain neat and tidy rooms that reflect their personal style and comfort. Our dedicated staff provide general cleaning and bed making services to support you.
Regular maintenance is carried out by our skilled maintenance officer to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment. We kindly request that residents consult with management before making any alterations or additions to their rooms.
Clothing - Personalized and Well-Maintained
To ensure your clothing is properly cared for, we provide laundering services for all residents at no extra charge. We recommend having sufficient appropriate clothing to allow for weekly laundering.
Please ensure that all items, including clothing, blankets, towels, and bedspreads, are clearly marked with your name. Iron-on non-removable name tags can be ordered from our reception for your convenience.
Funeral Arrangements - Comprehensive Support

We provide a standard form for capturing this information, ensuring that your preferences are respected during difficult times.

Appointments can be easily made through our reception. The cost of personal hairdressing is borne by the resident and directly billed to their account, ensuring convenience and personalized care.
Laundry - Convenient and Hassle-Free
We understand the importance of clean and fresh laundry. Our contracted laundry services provide laundering of clothing and all linen at no additional charge to residents. Clothing and towels are delivered five days a week, ensuring that you have a continuous supply of clean garments.
Please note that delicate items requiring professional care can be laundered at home by families or commercially at the resident’s expense. Resident’s families have the option of laundering their own clothes to suit their preferences.
Newspapers - Staying Informed
We offer the option of arranging newspaper delivery to Hellenic Community Aged Care through the Dianella Heights Newsagency.
The cost of this service is the responsibility of the resident, ensuring that you can stay connected with the latest news and information.
Overnight Absences (Social Leave) - Flexibility and Connection
We encourage residents to maintain connections with family and friends. You are entitled to 52 days of social leave per financial year, during which the government subsidy is paid to Hellenic Community Aged Care.
If you plan to be absent for more than 52 days, Hellenic Community Aged Care will charge you the full cost of your room. To ensure the smooth management of your care, please inform our care staff of your departure and estimated return time. Our reception is available to provide further information and support.
Overnight Visitors - Exceptional Circumstances
While we regret that we cannot provide overnight accommodation for visitors, we understand that there may be exceptional circumstances.

Pets – Pet Therapy and Visits

Our sunshine room in A Wing and comfortable lounge area in D Wing offer spaces for families visiting in large groups, equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a microwave, and a cozy lounge area for your comfort.
