General Practitioner – Your Choice, Your Health
We believe in empowering our residents to make decisions about their healthcare. You have the freedom to choose your own general practitioner who will attend to your medical needs.
Whether you prefer to retain your existing practitioner or seek the services of another, we support your choice. In emergencies or when your doctor is unavailable, our caring nursing staff will promptly act according to instructions received. We strongly recommend having ambulance transport insurance to cover.
GP VISITS
Dr. Conway visits Thursday afternoon.
Dr. Papaelias visits on Tuesday morning.
Dr. Kan visits on a as needs basis.
Dr. Urban visits at various times.
Should any legal guardian or NOK wish to be present during a GP visit, the visiting GPs have requested that, due to a lack of quality discussion time, appointments can be made at their respective surgeries for a comprehensible discussion.
Medication Management – Compassionate Assistance
Our compassionate care staff are here to assist you with medication management, ensuring you receive the right medications at the right time.
If your doctor advises in writing that you can safely administer your own medication, you may continue to do so.
We regularly review your situation to ensure your well-being and may seek assistance from relevant health services when required.
Please note that residents or their relatives are responsible for arranging transportation to doctor, hospital, dentist, or other appointments.
While our staff will assist wherever possible, any transportation costs incurred will be invoiced.
Dentist, Audiology, and Optometry – Caring for Your Senses
We arrange regular visits from dentists, audiologists, and optometrists for residents who have consented to these services.
Your oral health, hearing, and vision are important to us.
While the cost of these services is the responsibility of the resident, we are here to support you in making appointments with health professionals of your choice, allowing you to prioritize your well-being at your convenience.
Occupational Therapy – Enriching Your Life
Our Occupational Therapist prepares personalized care plans to enhance your well-being and independence.
Our dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistants work closely with you to achieve your care goals, incorporating activities that align with your interests, culture, and individual needs.

Pharmaceutical Services – Simplifying Medication Management
Elements Healthcare provides comprehensive pharmaceutical services at Hellenic Aged Care. We ensure that your medications are easily accessible and organized, with a week’s supply delivered in convenient sachets. Our care staff will assist you with morning, mid-day, and evening doses.
The cost of incorporating medications into sachets is covered by Hellenic Community Aged Care, while prescription medication costs are the responsibility of individual residents. Your well-being is our priority, and we strive to simplify your medication management for your comfort and peace of mind.
Physiotherapy – Supporting Your Physical Well-Being
Our Physiotherapist is dedicated to supporting your physical well-being. They prepare personalized care plans to address your specific needs and goals.
Our compassionate Physiotherapy Assistants work closely with you to achieve these care plans, enhancing your mobility, strength, and overall physical well-being.

Podiatry – Caring for Your Feet
A local Podiatrist regularly visits Hellenic Aged Care to provide exceptional foot care for residents. Whether you require routine foot care or have specific podiatric needs, we ensure that you receive the attention and care your feet deserve.
The cost of this service is borne by individual low care residents and by Hellenic Community Aged Care on behalf of high care residents. We believe in promoting your comfort and well-being from head to toe.
Extra Services – Tailored to Your Needs
At Hellenic Aged Care, we understand that everyone is unique, and we are dedicated to meeting your individual needs. In addition to our core services, we coordinate visits from professionals such as Dieticians, Speech Pathologists, Palliative Care Teams, Silver Chain, and Geriatricians, as needed based on reassessment of care needs.
These additional services ensure that you receive comprehensive and holistic care tailored to your specific requirements.
Continence Management – Promoting Comfort and Dignity
We recognize the importance of continence management in maintaining your comfort and dignity. Our experienced team conducts thorough assessments to determine your continence requirements. Based on the assessment, we provide suitable pads to those who require them. If you prefer to bring your own pads, you are welcome to do so. For residents requiring pull-up pads, the cost will be shared between the resident and the nursing home. Respite residents are kindly requested to bring their own continence aids during their stay.
